the longer you’re on tumblr the less it becomes “pals having fun” and the more it becomes a fairly complex web of relationships where people you didn’t even know knew each other hate each other, people who you unfollowed in the past change their URLs and then you don’t realise and you follow them again thinking they’re somebody new, and it feels like a minefield

i have memory problems and there is just no way i can keep up. i cannot be up to date on the latest changes to the social landscape, who’s done what, etc etc
